Chateau de Sales is one of the rare Bordeaux estates, despite the French Revolution, and the different wars and crises, to have been fully handed down from generation to generation since the end of the 15th century, when it was purchased by Bertrand de Sauvanelle. The estate is made up of 90 ha with 47.5 of vines, which make it the largest in the Pomerol appellation area. Free visits and tastings from monday to saturday by appointment. A charge is made for groups.

Chaumet vineyards have consisted of two family estates since 1852. They comprise about 20 ha in the Lalande de Pomerol AOC area. The vineyards commercialise two wines made of the 3 traditional grape varieties in this AOC: chateau Moulin de Sales and chateau de l'Evêché. The Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc varieties provide all the qualities necessary to produce truly exceptional wines. Our properties are managed with a constant quest for quality. You are welcome to come and find out about our complete range of products. The team at Vignobles Chaumet welcomes visitors every day from 08:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 17:30 at the chateau de l'Evêché alongside the main RN89 highway in the direction of Périgueux. At weekends visits are by appointment, please. A tasting room is available for groups of up to 40 people. We can also host seminars by appointment.
