FEST' ARTS 2010, 19ième édition
Du 12 au 14 Août
Que l'on soit habitué de ce genre de festivals ou passionné d'un jour, chacun devrait, cette année encore, apprécier à leur juste valeur les performances des créateurs, des acteurs, chorégraphes ou musiciens. Avec 155 représentations en 3 jours dont 131 gratuites, il y en aura pour tous les âges et pour tous les goûts. Fest'arts s'ouvre à tous les talents et à tous les registres, et donne une place aux jeunes troupe come aux compagnies de références.
CULTURAL SEASON
The Cultural Season, which is organized by the Cultural Services of the City Hall, is sure to be memorable. From November to June you can attend more than 30 performances with a range of artistic expression such as plays, dance, music festivals, and art exhibitions.The artists'creations are an excellent way to enrich your mind, to see your dreams come alive, to share experiences.
If you want to know what is hot this 2009-2010season why not visit the City Hall (Mairie), or the multimedia library (Médiathèque) or the Office de Tourisme ?

EXHIBITIONS
The city of Libourne offers you continuous exhibitions at the Museum of Fine Arts (Musées des Beaux-Arts) which is on the second floor of the City Hall (Mairie). Guided tours are organized providing you make an appointment. The Carmel Chapel, the Liburnia Theatre and the multimedia library offer you temporary exhibitions all year long.

MARKETS
In Libourne, the open-air markets are an important event during the week, the one which takes place on Sunday mornings is the most important. Since the thirteenth century, it is located in the heart of the Bastide, Abel Surchamp Square. There are about 200 merchants for the street market alone and 25 merchants who sell specility goods in the indoor market.
