Where to do shopping ?
- City center:
A wide range of high-street brands are to be found: major brands alongside smaller boutiques, independent retailers and department stores, just about everything to satisfy all customers.
Shops are generally open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 to 12:00 and 14:00 to 19:00.
Some shops are open at lunchtime.
The rue Gambetta, a pedestrian street adjacent to the Place Abel Surchamp cannot be missed. But you will also find a wealth of shops in other streets, rue Jules Ferry, rue Montesquieu, rue Fonneuve, rue Michel Montaigne where you will be able combine shopping for tableware, decoration, jewelry , books, ready-to-wear and accessories together with snacking.with treats to delicious foodstuffs.
Treat youself to a delicious meal in the surrounding streets, in the allées Tourny for example.
Major shopping centers are located on the outskirts of the city, heading either towards Angoulême or Saint Emilion, Castillon La Bataille.
